If there was a sad news before like this Hilton Reservations Call Center closure, now one call center is flagging otherwise.
This is so because Watertown based call center Global Services got a new account and therefore adding more than 250 jobs in their workforce.
The new account is revealed as a U.S.-based health care benefits company, and will therefore have Stream’s call center agents to aid their Medicare enrollment support.
“We are extremely excited about our newest client being added in the Watertown site,” Stream Chairman and Chief Executive Officer R. Scott Murray said in a news release. “Building on the world-class support team that currently exists in Watertown, Stream will be building an exceptional team of health care support individuals.”
This is really great news as more opportunities are coming in, especially for those who have related call center experience that are living near the area. It was also reported that Stream Global Services will provide the necessary training for a state insurance license that is required to work for this client.
By the way, I checked that there’s Stream Global Services Philippines as well. I just hope that they would also acquire new clients so that a lot more people will be given call center jobs in the Quezon City area.
